Welcome to The Gate of Beautiful Salon (“Salon,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Business Structure & Independent Stylists

The Gate of Beautiful Salon operates as a shared space where independent hairstylists rent chairs. Each stylist may have their own business name (DBA), policies, pricing, booking methods, and payment options. The policies outlined below apply specifically to The Gate of Beautiful Salon and services provided by Charletta Speaks-Floyd.

If you are booking services with an independent stylist renting a chair, please refer to their specific terms, cancellation policies, and accepted payment methods , as they may differ from ours.

2. Charletta Speaks-Floyd's Policies

Online Booking & Payments

Services are by appointment only and may require a $50 deposit.
We do not accept credit cards for services at this time.

Consultation

All services begin with a thorough consultation to discuss your expectations, hair concerns, allergies, or medical conditions.
Service providers will offer home care recommendations and routine maintenance tips.
Some services may require multiple visits to achieve the desired result.

Running Late & Cancellations

If you are running late, we will try to accommodate you, but the appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled.
Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment will result in a 50% charge of the scheduled service.

Cell Phones & Electronic Devices

We request that phones be silenced or turned off to maintain a relaxing environment for all guests.
Two-way communication devices should be turned off during services.

Guest Safety

Only the person receiving the service is permitted on the styling floor.
Parents must watch their children at all times. If a child is not enjoying a haircut, the service will be terminated.

3. Policies for Independent Stylists

Independent stylists renting chairs at The Gate of Beautiful Salon may have different policies regarding:

Booking methods (online, phone, or in-person)
Accepted payment methods (credit cards, cash, digital payments, etc.)
Pricing, deposits, and cancellation policies

If you are booking with an independent stylist, please contact them directly for their specific terms. The Gate of Beautiful Salon is not responsible for the policies, pricing, or services provided by independent stylists.

4. Liability

The Salon is not responsible for adverse reactions to services or products.
Clients should disclose any allergies or sensitivities before receiving services.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
